Y’all Rock CArbondale IS…

a youth-centered music organization that cultivates an empowering space for girls, women, trans and gender non-conforming people to collaborate and experiment in music, expression, performance, and collective care.

Y'all Rock Carbondale aims to create a safe and inclusive environment for campers and volunteers. For this reason, we do not discriminate against individuals on the basis of race/ethnicity, class, ability, religion, immigration status, sex, sexual orientation, or gender identity or expression. Our goal is for camp to be fun and safe for any and all campers and volunteers. GRC believes in gender self-determination and our camp is open to girls, women, and trans and gender non-conforming people.

Come out to Hangar 9 on March 14th for our annual Rock Roulette fundraiser. 6 bands have set off to learn instruments, write 3 original songs, and collaborate with other community members, all while competing to raise the most money for Y’all Rock Carbondale camp and programming.

Y’all Rock Summer Camp

Join us for a one week musical experience. Girls, trans and gnc kids aged 8-18 are taught instruments, sorted into bands, write an original song and perform live. This is an empowering experience that teaches creative expression, collaboration, and confidence.

A 6 week hybrid adult program and fundraiser. Join a band, learn an instrument, perform live, and fundraise for Y’all Rock summer camp and programming. No musical experience necessary. All equipment provided. Open to women, trans and gender non conforming individuals 19+.
